About Us
North Country Garden Center is owned and operated by Justin Pelis, co-owner of North Country Landscapes. Justin is a native of neighboring Northampton and received a bachelors of science at Umass School of Finance. Upon graduating and working in Boston for one year, Justin returned home to pursue his education at the Stockbridge School of Agriculture with a focus on landscape contracting and design. This will be the garden center's first full season in retail. Along side of Justin, is his father Andy who also assists in the daily operation of the garden center. This spring we are excited to welcome Debra Young as the new Operations Manager to the garden center. She will assume the responsibility of maintaining and controlling inventory, floor displays and customer service. Debra is a Stockbridge graduate as well and will be a valuable resource for any of your gardening questions. In addition, she has several years experience in the garden center and landscape industry. We look forward to meeting you in the spring.
